Newly Opened Senior Living Facility Pilots 4G Micro Walkie Talkie to Improve Service Coordination
Forward Living, a senior living facility in Hong Kong, is piloting the use of a new 4G enabled micro walkie talkie system to communicate with staff across its nine storey, 60,000 square foot property. The newly opened 229 bed facility offers an innovative care service model in an ageing-friendly environment under the company’s vision of “A New Age of Possibilities”.
Forward Living selected OFLO’s cloud-based push-to-talk (PTT) solution because of its strong connectivity and customization compared to traditional walkie talkies. By enabling staff to work throughout the building while maintaining real-time communication, OFLO’s 4G micro walkie talkies help teams to coordinate tasks and respond to clients’ needs more efficiently.
Using a simple to use Channel Management Portal, Forward Living will also pilot OFLO’s multi-channel function which allows the facility’s administrative, care, and security teams to seamlessly communicate across different teams.
